The Renogy Rover 60A MPPT Solar Charge Controller delivers robust charging and serious value for larger solar systems. With automatic 12V/24V/36V/48V voltage recognition, intelligent 4-stage charging, die-cast aluminium heat dissipation, and eight electronic protections, it’s a reliable, high-performance heart for demanding RV, marine, and off-grid installations — supporting up to 6400W on a 48V system when expanded.

Class-Leading MPPT Efficiency

Advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking harnesses every bit of available sunlight for optimal charging, with tracking efficiency up to 99% and peak conversion efficiency of 98%. The 60A output handles up to 800W of solar on 12V, 1600W on 24V, 2400W on 36V, or a substantial 3200W on 48V.

Intelligent 4-Stage Charging

Bulk, Boost, Float, and Equalization stages ensure rapid, safe, and complete charging that extends battery life. The controller monitors battery status in real time and protects against overcharge and over-discharge.

Wide Battery Compatibility & Lithium Activation

Compatible with AGM, Gel, Flooded, Sealed lead-acid, and Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. Automatic voltage detection works for lead-acid types, while lithium voltage is set manually. The built-in lithium activation feature can revive deeply discharged LiFePO4 batteries that have tripped their BMS protection.

Eight-Point Electronic Protection

Superior electronic protection actively monitors voltage, current, and load fluctuations, guarding against reverse polarity, overcharging, over-discharging, overload, short-circuiting, over-temperature, and reverse current — with clear on-screen error codes for fast troubleshooting.

Precision Temperature Compensation

The included external temperature sensor lets the controller monitor battery temperature year-round, preventing undercharging in cold climates as low as -40°F and overcharging in hot weather up to 149°F.

Monitoring & Control

The built-in LCD and LED indicators display live system data, charging status, and error codes. A DC load terminal (≤20A) supports timer and automatic load control. Pair an optional Renogy BT-1 or BT-2 Bluetooth module to monitor and adjust parameters remotely through the Renogy DC Home app.
