Protects Your Starter Battery

Compatible with both traditional and smart alternators, the charger uses a D+ ignition signal to identify whether the engine is running — preventing over-discharge of the starter battery and protecting the alternator. (Note: the D+ ignition cable is not included; 18–16 AWG copper cable recommended.)

Protects Your House Battery

An optional LC (load-current) wire can automatically adjust the charging current to prevent excessive current from damaging the house battery. (Note: the LC cable is not included; 18–16 AWG copper cable recommended.)

Temperature Compensation for Longer Battery Life

Using the optional DC-DC temperature sensor, the charger applies -3mV/°C/2V compensation for more accurate voltage recognition and stable, constant charging in hot or cold conditions. (Note: the temperature sensor is not included and cannot be used with Lithium batteries.)

Technical Overview

Important Setup Note

Set the DIP switches to match your battery type before use, and use pure copper cable with quality copper terminals sized for your current (4 AWG or larger for full-power runs) to avoid resistance, heat, and damage. Ensure your alternator can handle the additional load (the 60A unit can draw a high current from the alternator) — a lower-power mode is available to reduce the draw at low engine speeds.
