Connect your batteries in series or parallel with the Renogy 12in 1AWG Battery Interconnect Cable. Finished with 5/16″ tin-plated copper lugs on both ends, it delivers abrasion resistance and electrical safety for your system, while the heavy 1AWG gauge handles the higher currents of larger battery banks.

Heavy-Gauge Tin-Plated Copper

100% copper conductor with a tin coating enhances electrical and heat conductivity, while Class K 30-gauge bare copper stranding keeps the cable flexible and easy to route. Heat-shrink tubing resists water and abrasion for long-term durability.

Built for Solar Use

UV-resistant and waterproof to TÜV standards, rated to 600/1000V, and tolerant of temperatures up to 221°F dry / 167°F wet — dependable in demanding outdoor and off-grid environments.

Series Connection

To wire batteries in series, connect the negative terminal of one battery to the positive terminal of the next, and so on. Series wiring increases voltage while keeping amp-hour capacity the same. For example, 2 x 12V 100Ah batteries in series give 24V at 100Ah (2.4kWh).

Parallel Connection

To wire batteries in parallel, connect negative to negative and positive to positive across the string. Parallel wiring increases capacity while keeping voltage the same. For example, 2 x 12V 100Ah batteries in parallel give 12V at 200Ah (2.4kWh).

Series / Parallel Connection

Combining both methods raises voltage and capacity together. For example, 4 x 12V 100Ah batteries wired in series/parallel give 24V at 200Ah (4.8kWh) — ideal for scaling up a system.
